To preserve and enhance the historic architecture and landscaping of our neighborhood.  To encourage strong community relations and to be good stewards of our common areas.

Vision Statement:

To be a community of well-maintained homes with beautiful gardens, white picket fences and tree-lined streets as originally conceptualized by Stoneson brothers, the builders of Stonestown and the Lakeside neighborhood.

Values:

In all our activities, we value integrity, fairness, common sense, respect and community participation in shaping and maintaining our neighborhood.

LPOA Board of Directors Objectives:

The LPOA Board of Directors is a group of Lakeside homeowners who work as volunteers to carry out the necessary duties to uphold the values of the Association and to fulfill its mission. 

• Encourage participation to enhance and maintain our neighborhood.

• Establish and manage appropriate and effective forums, such as our annual meeting to actively listen to the concerns of the community.

• Promote community building through neighborhood activities such as annual picnic, neighborhood-watch and neighborhood beautification and maintenance projects.

• Establish and maintain a strong financial foundation for all operations of the Association.

• Evaluate all issues on their merit to the Association, our Mission, Vision, and Values, without any prejudice shown toward a specific interest group.

LPOA Member Objectives:

• Good Neighbors First. Neighbors evaluate all issues on their merit and with neighborly spirit.

• Volunteerism. Property owners and residents value participation in the Association that extends beyond the typical commitment(s) of being a good neighbor; it includes being committed to the shared Vision, Mission and Values of the Association.

• Property Maintenance. Property owners/residents shall maintain their respective property in accordance with LPOA design guidelines, and covenants, conditions and restrictions to enhance the neighborhood and not detract from the property values or common areas.
